Georgia Cox

Georgia Cox, apprentice to Classic winning Newmarket trainer William Haggas, staked her claim on future stardom when winning the 2016 Racing Excellence Training Series, a British Horseracing Authority-backed initiative to promote and encourage emerging talent, but was her partnership with the Haggas-trained, Theydon Grey, that provided one of the springboards to the launch of her career.

Three consecutive victories at York aboard the five-year-old gelding, who had previously been unplaced at the track under three-times champion jockey, Ryan Moore, propelled her into the headlines and provided some of the most memorable moments of her career which also include riding for Her Majesty The Queen.

Born in Cambridge just outside Newmarket, the 22-year-old is in her fourth season and has 58 winners to her credit and is very much looking forward to adding international experience to her already impressive CV.
